McKinney, Texas

Located just north-west of Lavon Lake, the city of McKinney is only about a 35-40 minute drive from the center of downtown Dallas. Its rich culture and diverse community is why it is home to a total population of just over 161,900 people. Served primarily by the McKinney Independent School District, the city also has areas belonging to the Frisco, Prosper, Celina, Allen, Melissa, and Lovejoy Independent School Districts. Along with the number of available public schools, McKinney also offers three private schools from grades K-12 including; McKinney Christian Academy, Cornerstone Christian Academy and North Texas Christian Academy. With the city’s “Unique by nature” motto, it continues to explain why it is one of the state’s fastest growing towns!
